On the absurdities of human endeavors

Look now, I say; the world as it was
is no longer.
The Corridors are no longer hollow
And the streets no longer lit.
Lo, and I say once more; Everything
has changed.
As go the seasons, so does my heart.
A fate a-kin with a falling leaf.
One may miss the regeneration
in the midst of death.
It is I who proclaims- there is no mystery
that remains unsolved
There is only a clouded mind as a wall to truth.
Your fever lies to you. And your feelings
are led astray.
With randomness I see polite order.
Through darkness I can ponder the light.
What once was complex was too once simple.
One draw of a card, and another, another- proves this
FORGET WHAT YOU KNOW- no truth can be found
on a tainted path
Remember the future- and now forget your past.
The strings on your heart TIE you down
tie you down.
